We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).
2. What Data We Collect
We collect the following personal data:

We do not collect names, payment details, or precise location data.
3. Legal Basis for Processing
- Price alerts (email + postcode): processed on the basis of your consent. You can withdraw consent at any time by unsubscribing using the link in any alert email or by emailing us.
- Analytics data: processed on the basis of our legitimate interests in understanding how the site is used so we can improve it. We anonymise IP addresses and do not use analytics data for advertising.
4. How Long We Keep Data
- Alert data (email + postcode): retained until you unsubscribe, then deleted within 30 days.
- Analytics data: retained for 26 months in line with Google Analytics 4 defaults.
5. Third Parties
We share data only with the service providers necessary to operate this site:
- Google Analytics (Google LLC)— anonymous site usage statistics. Data processed under Google's standard terms. IP anonymisation is enabled.
- Resend — transactional email delivery for price alert notifications. Your email address is passed to Resend solely for sending alert emails.
- Supabase — database storage for alert subscriptions (email, postcode, fuel type, threshold). Hosted in the EU.
- Vercel — website hosting and serverless functions. Vercel may process request metadata (IP addresses, headers) in transit. See Vercel's privacy policy.
- postcodes.io — open-source postcode geocoding API used to convert postcodes to coordinates. No personal data is stored by postcodes.io.
We do not sell, rent, or share personal data for advertising.
6. Cookies
We use cookies only for analytics. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

Analytics cookies are only set if you click Accepton the cookie banner. You can change your preference at any time by clearing your browser's localStorage or cookies.
We also store your cookie preference in localStorage (key: cookieConsent). This data never leaves your device.

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Erasure — ask us to delete your data
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent — for price alerts, unsubscribe at any time via the link in any alert email
- Object — to processing based on legitimate interests
To exercise any right, email menbrainai@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. If you are unsatisfied with our response, you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office.
8. Fuel Price Data
All fuel price data is sourced from the UK Government Fuel Finder scheme. This data is publicly available and does not contain personal information.
